INDONESIAN GIANTS PERSIB BANDUNG ARE SWEATING UNCEASINGLY OVER THE HEALTH OF MICHAEL ESSIEN

Indonesian giants Persib Bandung are sweating unceasingly over the and ankle injury suffered by experienced midfielder Michaels Essien.

Persib team doctor Bandung, Rafi Ghani said Essien's right knee is swollen and will be on the sidelines for some time.

Essien has undertaken an MRI test to ascertain the extent of the injury but doctors say the result is yet to be in.

“Essien rested for a few days and is now undergoing therapy and taking medicine," said Rafi.

Essien is yet to start training with the team as the doctors await the results of the MRI.
